El presente trabajo investigativo tiene como finalidad obtener un diagnóstico real y establecer estrategias de mejora al analizar el desarrollo turístico de Galerazamba, un corregimiento ubicado en la punta noroeste del país, perteneciente al departamento de Bolívar. Conforme a lo anterior, se pudo concluir que a través del potenciamiento del empoderamiento territorial se pueden conseguir grandes resultados; se obtuvieron resultados a través de encuestas a expertos, entrevistas a la población, entrevistas a los trabajadores del turismo, una salida de campo que permitió conocer y analizar la situación real del territorio y un laboratorio a pequeña escalada de los productos que se pueden obtener en cierto tiempo en una huerta urbana. Parte de los objetivos fue el de abrir oportunidades de crecimiento, satisfacer las necesidades tanto de la población como de los visitantes en el ámbito turístico, e identificar los puntos críticos para reforzar e implementar la sostenibilidad en cada uno de los prestadores turísticos de la región.

The purpose of this research work is to obtain a real diagnosis and establish strategies for improvement by analysing the tourism development of Galerazamba, a village located in the northwestern tip of the country, belonging to the department of Bolivar. According to the above, it was possible to conclude that great results can be achieved through the strengthening of territorial empowerment; results were obtained through surveys of experts, interviews with the population, interviews with tourism workers, a field trip that allowed to know and analyse the real situation of the territory and a small-scale laboratory of the products that can be obtained in a certain time in an urban vegetable garden. Part of the objectives was to open up opportunities for growth, satisfy the needs of both the population and visitors in the field of tourism, and identify the critical points for strengthening and implementing sustainability in each of the region's tourism providers.
