This article explores the relations between Colombia and Peru, going back to the time of pro-independence until reaching the present. The central field of interest is trade and binational relations, although demographic and cultural data is explored on the basis of an academic mission carried out by a group of students of Uniempresarial who, in a visit to Peru, receiving different conferences in the University of Lima and supported by a research work conclude that there is a close relationship and features of similarity between the two countries.
