Resumen
In this article, the logistic and customs processes of the Republic of Colombia and the Republic of Peru will be identified, in order to identify the level of efficiency and inefficiency of each country in the scope of the study. For this, it will take into account the LPI (Logistics Performance Index) published by the World Bank every two years, which aims to identify the challenges and opportunities that improve the logistic performance of a country. In a general scenario, Colombia is seen better positioned in the logistic and customs processes worldwide and a prioritized Peru in the development of transport and infrastructure suitable to increase his competitiveness. However, the representative gap that has been maintained between these two countries is still evident, mainly due to the low advances in customs, traceability and monitoring carried out by the countries covered by the article.
