Resumen
The following research is a market study which aims to determine the necessity of a copy shop near to the Second Notary´s Office of Zipaquira in Colombia. The target of the investigation was to know the stationary stores and copy shops in the close area around the Second Notary´s Office, to learn about the clients’ habits and evaluate its discontent about the current market situation. There were used data collections methods like questionnaires, interviews and observation in order to combine a quantitative with a qualitative approach of the research. It was defined as a descriptive study that allows to present the different aspects of its purposes. At the end of the work it was concluded that currently there are enough copy shops in the investigated area for the existing demand and that the potential market was not enough to sustain the business idea. Finally, it can be resumed that the business idea did not turn out to be a real business opportunity.
