Resumen
The main objective of this research is to analyze the online shopping trends are Colombians in the second quarter of 2014 for this, the company BrandStrat provided a study made in June in 8 major cities (Bogotá, Medellin, Cali, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Bucaramanga, Manizales and Pereira), where they interviewed 1,000 people from all strata that were adults. This research was descriptive-quantitative type, applying a structured personal interview in the home, through the data collection technique called "sweep area". The interview included a series of questions that helped identify the distinguishing features in the behavior and attitudes at the time of using the Internet as a means of purchase. The population sample was weighted on the variables of gender, age and socio- economic level, so that these results are representative of the total population. In this investigation it was observed that the percentage of people buying online is small, 1,000 interviews 4% purchase online, focusing on those that live in Manizales, stratum 6 and who are self-employed. However, experts in the field say that in recent times this percentage has been increasing exponentially in the near future all companies should migrate to this type of e-commerce is expected to be as a means of successful sale.
